Starting Again

jordandeearn:

Hello, it’s Jordan.

I know at this point I’ve probably had as many blogs as I’ve had hot dinners but this time there’s a legitimate reason: I got locked out of my old Tumblr account and thus all the attached blogs are now defunct.

While it’s a bloody nuisance to lose access to all my old posts and followers, I’m trying to see the bright side in this disaster and use it as an opportunity to start afresh, to rebrand as the corporate bloodsuckers might say.

Hopefully this blog will be more of a scrapbook sort of place, where I’ll share stories from life, reviews and recommendations, art or music that I’m enjoying, places I want to visit and so forth. If you’d like to join me again, that would be fantastic, and if not, thanks for all the fun years past!

All the best x

AHHHHHHH! Bloody hell. When I try to log in to this bloody website on my computer, for some unknown reason it tells me “time to change your password” but I CAN’T change my password because the email address I signed up with no longer exists! And I can’t change the email address because you have to log in for that and you can’t do it on the app. The “support section" just says there’s no solution if you have a defunct email as your login and you have to create a new account but I don’t want to bloody do that when I have like five important sideblogs hooked up to this one! So, what, I can never use my blogs again except through the useless app? And what happens when the app decides I can’t use it anymore too? WHAT THE HELL!

Turns out there was a “security breach” and that’s why many users’ passwords need to be reset. Through their emails. Which I can’t do since the address no longer exists. Which means I have no choice but to either use only the terrible app from now on since I’m still logged in here or start a new account that I can actually use on my computer. The answer is obvious, but that means goodbye to tens of thousands of posts and hundreds of followers built up over five years. Bloody hell. What a disaster. Friends, make sure your email addresses are up to date! Now, what more can I say but I hope to see you all over at my new Tumblr @jordandeearn (same as my Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat) where I’ll have to restart my poetry blog etc. from eventually.

So this happened in Eurovision today.

Just when I though it couldn’t get any more camper, it does. I do love this little weird thing that Europe does every year.

My Eurovision 2016 Picks

This nearly killed me to do and I’m still not satisfied with the point allocations, but after the second semi-final this morning I was buzzing too hard to go back to bed so voilà! Since you can’t vote for your own country, I sadly had to leave out Australian empress Dami Im but please vote for her, Europe ♥

What do you think? I would love to hear your choices or discuss these!

Bless you Europe for getting the breathtaking @damiim through to the @eurovision final and making this lowly blanket worm very happy she got up at 5am to watch live 😚

TIL there is a mysterious sound in New Mexico called the “Taos Hum”. Only 2% of the population can hear it, and no one knows where the sound comes from.
